  1. Thank you all for your support and prayer. I really appreciate that so much sisters!
  2. Hi Ladies, unfortunately I had a miscarriage. I was three to four weeks pregnant. I bled with clots on the 14th of december. I had cramps too. My hcg numbers were going down so my doctor said I did have a miscarriage. I'm okay God has given me comfort . We would love to try again sometime soon. Doc said to wait least a cycle or two. She just said miscarriages that early are common etc. No real cause of miscarriage was further investigated. Any similar stories? Did you try again soon after?
  3. Hi!! Welcome! I am expecting my 1st August 2010! Congrats on your pregnancy! I bet you must be very happy!

  6. Hello Ladies, I just ask that you guys help me pray for my pregnancy. I am about 3-4 weeks, and my cervix had opened up just a bit. I also bled a bit on Monday with cramps, but that went away very fast. It only lasted about 1 1/2 days nothing too severe. My blood test did show that I am pregnant, and so did my urine. My doctor saw that my cervix opened just a little bit but seems to be closing. Help me pray that everything is okay with my baby, and I continue to have a normal and healthy pregnancy. I know I'm in God's Hands. He has been so good to us. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement.
  7. Quick Testimony: Hello, I have been married for a year and 3 months to a wonderful Godly man. Five months into our marriage (Jan '09) I felt a deep desire to start a family, and raise them in the ways of the Lord. My husband was in a different page. He wanted to have a baby, but didn't have that desire I had, and didn't want a child just yet. So I prayed for his heart to change, I prayed, and prayed. Then like 3 months ago, we both simply decided we were going to try next year. I still wanted a baby, but was also respecting my husband's point of view, and compromised with him. Then, on Sunday, November 1st (yes, I remember the date) my husband and I were getting ready for bed. Then, we told me that he feels like he wants us to start trying for a family. I couldn't believe it, I remembred right away the times I prayed to God, and begged Him to change my husband's heart. God was at work! So that same night was the 1st time we tried. It was 5 days before my period came. We have been trying ever since, and waiting for the Lord to give us our blessing. I have a question, is it wrong if we don't tell our parents that we are trying for a baby? I am trying to finish my degree, and my husband just needs one semester and he is done. So my dad would not be too excited, I am not sure how my mom would react, my in-law's would probably take it better. I just would like for them to know that this pregnancy was planned, and desired by both of us. We have prayed before we have come together. My husband prayed for the 1st time days ago, for God to have his hands over us as we try to start our family. Let me tell you, I was so touched by it! Look what God has done to my husband!! Praise Him! PS. If you have any advice to share with me please do so!! Thank you in advance!
  8. Hi ruthieaileen, Amen to that! You're welcome. I am not a SAHM, but I will someday, and I think it's wonderful.
  9. Hi Lamere34, Welcome!! I am 21, married for about 7 months now, no babies YET lol. I am sure you will LOVE this site. It's a true blessing! Christina
  10. Hi jenni and everyone else, I know, our friends may have careers, nice outfits, well polished nails, an up to date hairdo, etc... While stay at home mommies, are chasing around little ones, and cleaning up after them. I believe that it really doesn't have to be that way. We can still wake up in the morning, spend 10min or so to put ourselves together! I am not a mother, nor a stay at home mom. I am a nanny, and I can't wait till the Lord sends me my children. I do know what God has given us a WONDERFUL calling, and that we have to learn to embrace it, and be creative with it. Trust me, sometimes I do feel envious at my friends who are finishing school, get all of these nice things for them, etc... And I on the other hand, want to be a stay at home mom, and spend time in learning to "fish" souls for Christ. That is my ultimate longing, and God's Will. Just remember that our jobs are far more important than any other career. We are building geneartions of Godly people. Yes, if we can have nice things, okay, praise God! If not, it's still okay, praise God. But our worth is far above rubies. Get encouraged sisters! We are Uncommon Superheroes! "A capable, intelligent and virtuous woman, who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far Above Rubies or pearls." Proverbs 31.10
  11. As for your hubby, stay faithful, and I know it's hard but don't worry. My husband wants to be a Police Officer too, but it can be challenging to get it. Not impossible though! God can make those employers hire your husband. His new job is waiting for him, he will get it soon, you'll see... God is good, and will take care of you and provide...
  12. I agree with secondchance! Sister, your sister needs someone to lay hands on her and cast those demons out in the name of Jesus. As I read your post, the devil was writen all over it, and he is enjoying this so much. She needs to postpone that wedding, and not marry this man. If you can, go to her house with another believer, and lay hands on her, and pray with authority in the name of Jesus to leave your sister alone! I will pray for her right now. But she needs the laying of hands. The devil wants to destroy her, but we are going to defeat him because our God is on our side!
  13. Amen to both of you becky84, and secondchance. I would HIGHLY recommend for you to paste it somewhere in your home. That way, you can be reminded everyday what you are called to do. Also, if you can get the book, Passionate Housewives Desperate for God http://www.visionforum.com/search/productdetail.aspx?search=passionate+wives+desperate+for+god&productid=84332 GET IT! Trust me it is worth reading!
  14. Yeah Jenni try what becky84 says, maybe it will work...
