  1. Hi, my name is Heather. I have been married for, what will be, 3 years in August. I have a 23 month old little girl named Keaton. She calls herself KeKe. Keaton was born at 32 weeks. She stayed in the NICU for a while. She was on a ventilator. As a result of being a preemie, she now suffers from Chronic Asthma. She requires a breathing treatment via nebulizer every 4-6 hours. As we all know, allergies can be a BIG problems in children (and adults) whom suffer from the disease. My husband works full time, and due to where we live (cost of living is OUTRAGEOUS) I have no choice but to work. Keaton is in a VERY VERY good daycare from 8am-3:30pm. As with ANY daycare, children tend to share germs MUCH better than they do toys. It seems like she is sick atleast once per month. I have to pay weekly, even if she doesn't attend. Since December 13th, she has been hospitalized 3 times. What starts out as a cold, turns into a lung infection, which then causes more breathing problems due to her asthma. About the time she starts to get well, and goes back to daycare, she gets sick again. It's so hard in todays world to pay for everything. My work hours have had to be cut back because she is sick so much. I don't have a babysitter or a nanny. I am hoping that someone will have a suggestion. I am very nervous about hiring a full time nanny. I am afraid that would stress our income. Plus, it's hard to find someone that your can trust your child with. I also have the added issue with needing to find someone that is Asthma aware. I never knew there was so much to the disease until Keaton was diagnosed with it. If anyone has any suggestions PLEASE email me at sckuttlez@aol.com. Title the subject Keaton's Asthma (THAT WAY I WONT DELETE IT THINKING IT IS JUNK!) Thanks so much!! Heather
