What If God Had Voicemail?

Recommended Posts

This is from our Women's History Month Anthology For March At Our Church

Voice Mail

Most of us have now learned to live with voice mail as necessary part of our lives. Have you ever wondered what it would be like if God decided to install voice mail? Imagine praying and hearing the following:

Thank you for calling heaven.

For English press 1

For Spanish press 2

For all other languages, press 3

Please select one of the following options:

Press 1 for request

Press 2 for thanksgiving

Press 3 for complaints

Press 4 for all others

I am sorry, all our Angels and Saints are busy helping other sinners right now. However, your prayer is important to us and we will answer it in the order it was received. Please stay on the line. If you would like to speak to:

God, press 1

Jesus press 2

Holy Spirit press 3

To find a loved one that has been assigned to heaven press 5, then enter his social security number followed by the pound sign. (If you receive a negative response, please hang up and dial area code 666.)

For reservations to heaven, please enter JOHN followed by the numbers, 3 16.

For answers to nagging questions about dinosaurs, life and other planets, please wait until you arrive in heaven for the specifies.

Our computers show that you have already been prayed for today, please hang up and call again tomorrow.

The office is now closed for the weekend to observe a religious holiday.

If you are calling after hours and need emergency assistance, please contact your local pastor.

Thank you and have a heavenly day.:(

Voice Mail that stays connected

The word mouth is important to God. He talks about it 397 times in the Bible.

Old Testament 331 Verses

New Testament 66 Verses

The word voice is important to God. He talks about it 456 Verses in the Bible.

Old Testament 343 Verses

New Testament 113 Verses

Let us look at some of these from the New Testament

I love these:

Voice mail --- that gives the gift of salvation / by mouth

Romans 10: 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Mr 1:3 - The
voice
of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

Mr 1:11 - And there came a
voice
from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Mt 27:46 - And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud
voice
, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Mt 27:50 - Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud
voice
, yielded up the ghost.

Voice mail --- heals the mind body, soul, and glorify God

Lu 17:15 - And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

Voice mail ----blesses the hearer of the word

Lu 11:27 - And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company
lifted up her voice
, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.

Voice mail ----drives out unclean spirits.

Mr 1:26 - And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

If we call on Jesus is connected and can stay connected if we follow Him.

The Holy Spirit got a hold of me and took me to a message He wanted to delivered.

Something down inside of me tells me to go on.........

Voice mail
, we have a divine connection and aint
no disconnection
or
voice box
.

Just call on Jesus, to stay connnected...............

Stay connected, if you want healing

Stay connected, if you want your life to change

Stay connected, if you want your finance to change or a pay increase

Stay connected, if you want your peace in your home

Stay connected, if you want love in your heart

Stay connected, if you want joy in your life.

Stay connected, if you have lost your love one.

Stay connected, if you are up and if you are down.

Stay connected, if you have a job or don't have a job

Stay connected, if your marriage is went south.

Stay connected, if you don't know where your children are.

Stay connected, if your friends are gone and left you alone

Stay connected to Jesus for He is our voice mail to God the Father Almighty.

Stay connected to the Holy Spirit for He is our comforter, that He will keep us, cause Jesus is coming back again.

If we just stay connected

Yeah!
:D

This was just a what if situation. Like when we have our own voicemail or when we call and get voicemail. Not indicating that we don't have a connection to God thru Jesus just a metaphor. Not a Bible Study. Read and enjoy.

Yes, He is , He is a right now God.

Now how many of us are connected.

How many of us need to refresh or renew.

All we have to do is open up our month and our voice and call on Jesus and He will see us through.

I did my first sermon tonight and it went well, but I went over time.

I had only 4 minutes and I spoke about 6 minutes.

I spoke on the topic above

"Voice Mail that stays connected"

It was a nice experience, just too short of time.

I prepared and only thing I did was forgot to time myself.

God is good they loved it.
